Community

We are proud to support our community and work with local charities and organisations which mean so much to our customers.

We aim to make contributions which will have a meaningful long term impact in the community and during the past year we have helped fund cultural programmes within Glasgow schools, supported many charities - including our nominated charity Cash for Kids - and sponsored community awards programmes including the Evening Times’ Scotswoman of the Year and the Daily Record’s Our Little Heroes.

Charity collections

St. Enoch Centre welcomes registered charities to apply for permission to run fundraising collections within the Centre.  To apply for permission, please complete and return our enquiry form.

Face Painting Appeal

St. Enoch Centre provides free face painting every Saturday and Sunday between 12-4pm.  Although this service is free of charge, we do accept donations on behalf of our charity of the year, Cancer Support Scotland.

Our Charity of the Year

Every day 81 people in Scotland are diagnosed with cancer, with 54 of those people living in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Cancer Support Scotland provides practical and emotional support for those living with cancer, as well as their friends, family and carers. The charity has a network of support groups throughout the country and offers free complementary therapy and one-to-one talking therapy (counselling) sessions, which provide support to patients before, during and after their treatment.

This year Cancer Support Scotland will be moving to its new premises in the Calman Cancer Support Centre at Gartnavel Complex, where it can offer new services such as online talking therapy and an in-house salon providing expert advice on anything from hair loss to chiropody. The move will allow the charity to treble its current capacity and directly help 1,400 people every year.

The charity currently runs 3,000 complementary sessions a year, supporting more than 500 people through a programme of six sessions. St. Enoch Centre will be raising money for the Take Care Appeal, which will fund these support sessions for those living with cancer in Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

Cancer Support Scotland is a charity registered in Scotland SCO12867.
